Compelling tale of a crisis, in which all the twists, turns and reverses on a man’s way to a decision are set out in a clear-eyed style that allows believer and skeptic alike to empathise.

Batter the heart is a beautiful read, it had me captivated from the first chapter. A fantastic story of how love turned Bob’s world into a whirlwind of questions about his faith and vows. This is one book I got very hard to put down.
