Wonderfully Weathery Books is an Irish owned business set up up to publish a series of children’s picture books about a land called Weatherville - Where the weather lives!
There are currently three books in the series is called and a fourth one on the way this coming Autumn.
The land of Weatherville exists way up high and is the home to every cloud, snowflake, raindrop, drizzledrop,rainbow and any other weather-related wonder! They walk, they talk, they laugh, they cry but most of all their friendships teach us how the weather works!
The aim of these books is to teach children about the weather by introducing them to different weather characters and showing how they interact together to create different types of weather!
E.g. Sun + Rain = Rainbow
There are currently three books in the Weatherville series. ‘Riley Rainbow and the Colour Catastrophe’ is the first books and looks at the magic of rainbows and how they are formed . This beautiful story also looks at using rainbow colours to express feelings.
The next book is the collection is ‘Chloe Cloud and the Friendly Fog’ - it explores the happy topic of clouds and is a lovely story that illustrates empathy and new friendships. The most recent book that was launched just before Christmas is called ‘ David Drizzledrop and the Puddle Party’ and focuses on the water cycle and how it works - it is a super story about bravery and adventure. This is my little boys character David so an extra special books for us both! A true labour of love and is just visually stunning.
I am currently working on the next book in the series which I plan to launch this Autumn.
All books are wholly created and produced in Ireland - they are beautifully illustrated, bright, fun books suitable for ages 3-6

I read this book to my infant class and they loved it. We read it just before hometime and once they were outside they all lived up to notice the clouds around them. We talk about weather everyday so I loved how informative and attractive this book was. Well done on a wonderful read and resource

This is a fabulous book. I loved the size of the book, the colours, the wonderful illustrations and the perky rhyme. It is fun and educational with something for every child from maybe 3 to 8 years of age. It is book that would be well-suited to any junior classroom, local library or home. Even I learnt something new about clouds. Super book!
