I have had the privilege to read this book. I am not much of a reader and a book needs to captivate me from the beginning. This book did just that, I read it in two days, I couldn’t put it down. The way Carrie writes is fantastic, you feel like you are in the corner of her house watching everything unfold. You feel every emotion she describes, its like you are living it with her, all the trauma, the heartache and the good times. This book is a must for anyone who wants to be engrossed from the first sentence. A fantastic read, make sure you have tissues close by I cried several times reading it, but surprisingly it is also very funny. Carrie has put herself out there, shared her hardest times and showed a vulnerability I can only commend. A lovely story of facing life’s adversities but not letting it take you down. Congratulations! I will definitely read this book again.
