Izzy’s Magical Soccer Adventure

Izzy is an eight-year-old girl who lives in Ireland and loves all sport, especially camogie, Gaelic football and soccer.
Winter is dragging but Izzy is happy as she has started playing soccer for the Under 10 team in her local club, Bally FC. Izzy is a natural goal scorer and a call up to the U12 team for a key match is the chance to shine that she has always dreamed of.
But Izzy’s confidence is shattered by an incident at the match, leaving her soccer ambitions in tatters.
A trip to watch the Irish senior women’s soccer team in a must win world cup qualifier match is just the distraction that Izzy needs. Izzy, her best friend Cara, and their teammates head off on a fun bus trip to Dublin to support the Irish team, who have never qualified for a World Cup.
Early in the match, something unexpected happens that is uncomfortably familiar to Izzy and to her and Cara’s amazement, the magic bracelet starts to glow.
This magical adventure may be Izzy’s most exciting adventure yet.
Can Ireland win the match and qualify for their first ever World Cup Finals? Where is the magic bracelet going to take Izzy and Cara? And can Izzy restore her confidence and get back to playing the “beautiful game” that she loves?
Izzy’s Magical Soccer Adventure, the fourth in the Izzy series, is an absolute must read for soccer and football fans across the World.

Written by Emma Larkin and beautifully illustrated by Paul Nugent, this is a wonderful story of sport interweaved with hope, friendship, perseverance and fun that boys and girls everywhere will enjoy.
