Sold by: Seán Ó SúilleabháinSeán Ó Súilleabháin is a native of Aughakine, Aughnacliffe, Co Longford.
He went to Aughnacliffe NS and Moyne Latin School. His working life was spent in libraries; with Dublin City Libraries from 1968-1978 and with Leitrim County Library from 1978-2012.
He has an abiding interest in everything Irish, including the GAA, Irish language and Irish Republicanism. He has written a number of other books including Longford Authors (1978), Scéal Club Colmcille: Colmcille’s GAA Story (1984), Under the Thatch: Memories of a Longford Childhood (2018). He edited Scéal Liatroma; Leitrim GAA Story, 1886 – 1984 (1984), Come on Cannaboe: 100 Years of Ballinamore Seán O’Heslin’s GAA Club (1989) and Leitrim GAA Millennium Book (2000).
