The Story:

Set in rural Ireland in the late 1980’s, 18 year old Faye Mahoney’s life is fractured following a devastating accident that leaves her paraplegic and grieving the loss of her 21 year old soulmate, Rob Kinsella.

The story is told through three distinct voices: Faye, as she navigates through betrayal, isolation, loss and the daunting revelation of her pregnancy; Rob, her 21 year old boyfriend, who speaks from the other side of life; and Faye’s Higher Self, who offers clarity and compassion.

This story chronicles Faye’s intense emotional and physical struggle as she comes to terms with her life as it now is. While Rob’s continuing spiritual presence is comforting, it also challenges Faye, reminding her of their shared past and testing her capacity to forge a new future.
