The Irish Wise Guys was read by my sons and husband. It’s the type of book that makes a great addition to the family bookcase. It’s well researched and informative with fascinating stories about an aspect of Irish people and history that isn’t always covered in the school curriculum. My sons in particular were intrigued to read that one of the Irish gangsters shared the same surname as themselves!! Overall an enjoyable read and one that can be dipped into again and again.
