Jackie McCarthy Elger from Co Clare is a freelance photographer, local/oral historian and owner of Cat Beag Books, a local interest book publishing company. She holds a Masters in Local History from the University of Limerick. She collects and restores old photographs of Co Clare and has recorded the oral history of many people across the county.
