Anne Heffernan

Anne Heffernan lives in Co. Kildare, Ireland. She loves to meet new people and visit new places. She particularly likes seeing new places through the eyes of a local, gaining some experience of the real life of a place when she travels.

Longer trips appeal to her sense of curiosity about life in foreign places. Her year volunteering in Haiti opened up new experiences and a very different way of life to what she had lived up till then, for which she is truly grateful.

She aims to raise awareness of what life is like in one of the poorest regions of the world and to raise money for the people in Jean Rabel, NW Haiti.
