Máire O Shea

Máire O Shea hails from Castlegregory, Co. Kerry, on Ireland’s South West coast. She is currently based in The Netherlands. With a background in outhwork, adult literacy and community leadership, she has been running a language and communication coaching service since 2008. Part of her role as a language coach is to create safe learning environments where ‘people can challenge themselves to make their language skills work for them’ – a philosophy inspired by her work with John Collins.

Máire has many unfinished books tucked away in files, but Life Buoy is the first one she has actually finished. She suceeds in putting off writing by going to concerts, building Lego and drawing. She has two adult children.
