Mind your Mind with ease

My name is Yvonne and I live in West Cork. I have 3 small kids 5, 4, and a 1 year old. Last year, I was looking for a book to help me read to the kids about gratitude – I couldn’t find one suitable.

I have a visual impairment which can make it difficult for me to read stories to the kids as I need to hold the book right up to my eyes. Not good for 2 little kiddies who in turn cannot see the book. I designed this book in such a way that is easy to read and the imagery is clear yet beautifully effective.

Layla and Rio help the small and big reader  discover that they can be grateful for people, places and things. It helps us to also learn we can show different acts of kindness to show gratitude.

I created the Be Grateful Series to give parents small pockets of quality time with their kids. Colour a picture or do an activity. Or maybe just sit for a few minutes and have a hot cup of tea. Sometimes we can be too busy to sit for a few minutes and with kids it only takes a few minutes to spend some quality time with them 🙂
