Aisleen Harte

My name is Aisleen Harte, the Author of My Voice My Choice, which I am very proud to say is my debut children’s book. I am a mother of two and an Early Years Educator for the last 18 years. I have also been running my own preschool for the last 13 years. My interest in writing began in the last 4 years and it was mainly poetry I was wrote for close family and friends. In my experience working with so many children over the last decade and my learning as a parent, I decided to write in a way that supported the Voices of our children and my book was the result of that. I have begun writing two follow on books, also supporting the voice of the child and my hope would be to fulfil a series of stories one day. My hope is for my book to bring awareness and understanding around the importance of listening to our children and empowering their voice.
