Andrew Brehony

Andrew Brehony is an Irish author based in County Sligo. He writes character-driven genre fiction that explores how people behave when familiar rules collapse.

He is the author of the post-apocalyptic They Rise series, a grounded post-apocalyptic horror series following ordinary survivors through the collapse of Ireland during the A3 outbreak. Set across rural towns, collapsing safe zones, and desperate evacuations, They Rise explores survival, family, and the cost of impossible choices.

He has also written the Escape from London Trilogy in collaboration with R.R. Haywood under The Undead Presents Series, and The Faoladh, a standalone work of psychological folk horror rooted in Irish mythology.

When not writing, Andrew works in the Irish public service and spends his time with his wife and three sons.
