Aoife OBrien

Aoife O’Brien is the founder of Happier at Work and host of the award-winning Happier at Work® podcast, ranked in the top 2% globally. She partners with leaders in global organisations across tech, finance, pharma, FMCG, and professional services to strengthen performance, engagement, and retention by focusing on the conditions that allow people to thrive at work.

With over 20 years’ experience in the corporate world, Aoife witnessed how misaligned culture, unmet psychological needs, and underdeveloped leadership quietly undermine both people and profit. Motivated to change this, she earned an MSc in Organisational Behaviour and developed the Thriving Talent framework — a practical, research-backed model that helps organisations align culture, drivers, and capabilities so people feel valued, clear, and able to perform at their best.

Through keynotes, workshops, and leadership programmes, Aoife brings clarity to complex organisational challenges and helps leaders move beyond surface-level fixes to lasting impact. Her work has been featured across national media and shared on over 100 podcasts worldwide. Her upcoming book, Thriving Talent, will be published in March 2026.

Outside of work, Aoife has travelled to all seven continents (including Antarctica), reads more than 60 books a year, and is usually found behind a camera — or quoting The Simpsons.
