Hi! I’m the mammy behind Buzz & Buggy Adventures 🐝🐞

This book started not at a desk… but at bedtime. My daughter Erin and I used to create little imaginary adventures with two tiny teddies — Buzz the Bee and Buggy the Ladybird. Every story began the same way:

Singing 🎶 Buzz Buzz Buzz Buzz Buzz Buzz 🎵…

One evening, Erin looked at me and said,
“Mammy, wouldn’t it be great if we had a book to go with this?”

And just like that — Buzz & Buggy became more than bedtime fun.

I’m not a trained writer or a big publishing house — just a mammy who believed in her daughter’s clever idea. I wanted to show Erin that when you have an idea, you give it a go. If it works, brilliant. If it doesn’t, that’s okay too — because you tried.

This book is self-published, full of heart, rooted in places that mean the world to our family, and created from pure love and laughter. From the community spirit of Ratoath to special family connections at the Botanic Gardens and beyond, every page carries a little piece of us.

Erin also has big entrepreneurial dreams — there’s already talk of Buzz & Buggy teddies, T-shirts, backpacks, and more! I have a feeling this is only the beginning.
