Gerard O'Callaghan

Gerard O’Callaghan has been writing for many years and lives with his wife Carmel in Mallow, Co. Cork. He has a daughter Cáit and a son Gearóid. He enjoys playing music and writing songs and is a former member of Thomas Davis Pipe Band, which celebrated their Centenary in 2024. He has always been interested in the promotion of the Irish Language and has taught Irish for a number of years. His stories were published in magazines such as Ireland’s Own and were broadcast on RTE radio.

His first book titled “Memories and Make Believe” was published in 2013 and features a collection of stories, both fiction and non-fiction.
