About the Book
The Bee and the Dandelion is a beautiful picture rhyme book that tells the story of Sally, a young girl who discovers that bees are in danger and decides to rally her friends together and do something about it. There is also a section on fun facts about bees at the end of this book.
Told in bouncy rhythm and rhyme, the Bee and the Dandelion is a vibrant fast moving story for children aged 3 – 8 years of age and can be used to engage children of different ages in different ways making it an ideal book for the whole family.
This story is a fun and educational way of making children aware of our impact on the environment. My hope for all who read this book is that in a child friendly way, the story will create an early awareness into the cause and effect consequences of our actions and a love and appreciation for our planet and the creatures that share it with us.

Eileen Moynihan –
This is a beautiful bright book, with great illustrations and an important message. Children, parents and teachers alike will love this book.
This book is very important at this very moment as our bees are decreasing because of people destroying the flowers that the bees need to make honey. We depend on bees to help pollinate our flowers and trees.
It is told in verse which is catchy and works well. I love the added facts about bees. I learnt a few things too. This would make a lovely present for any young child.
