Lorna Melay

My name is Lorna Melay and I am the creator of The Magic Words. I live in beautiful County Wexford with my 10year old son, Ryan and our dog Skye (Characters that may become familiar upon reading The Magic Words!).

I am a Holistic Beauty Therapist, Tutor and Reiki Master. I own and run LunaLight.ie and love to read and write in my spare time especially out in nature, when I am not in the treatment room or teaching in the classroom.

I am a huge advocate and teacher of Mindfulness and Meditation and my main aim with The Magic Words is to teach and equip children from a young age, with the right tools to manage anxiety, big emotions and a busy mind. Our beautiful children are growing up in a very busy, fast-paced world and have been through so much in the last couple of  years since the start of the Pandemic. It is so important, now more than ever, to teach them the importance of mindfulness habits and gratitude in their daily lives.
