After reading many self help books and psychology books sometimes its easy to forget the key points that you consume this may be due to the fact that the lessons or gold are buried in a myriad of tales and other parables. Conversely this book gets straight to the point in a clear and concise manner like all the best books in this particular area. The three core pillars of this book are beliefs, values and attitude. These core pillars are examined and delved into by the author in a consumable manner that allows you to take key learnings from each chapter.
I particularly loved the section on values and how they should be implemented as a key filter for major and minor life decisions as a value driven life allows you to be in control of your life. The last section applies to both beliefs and values as attitudes to both are pivotal in how they may work for you or against you. Another element I really enjoyed was the self acceptance peace and how freedom actually equates to self acceptance. If we can accept who we are, we are aware of what we are good and and not so good at, we also don’t feel the need to be someone we are not, be in a job we hate, surround ourselves with negative people and thus we are more comfortable being alone as we are more self compassionate and have more self love.
This book and no one book will change your life but applying the core pillars of beliefs, values and attitudes to your own life with the knowledge imparted in this book may lead you down the path to becoming your best possible self!
