I brought this book to my grandson (6) who moved to live in Spain in May. He is just totally absorbed by the content. We read a few pages each evening before bed, in fact it is calculated by the counties not the pages! We recap before resuming on the previous night’s reading. He is fascinated by the presidents – isn’t this so topical right now!
He has no exposure to the current Irish news but he’s very aware of President Michael D having spent a year in junior infants before the move. This is a fabulous book in its layout & presentation with great illustrations.
