Magic Narrative

Ben Linehan graduated from the DIT College of Art, Dublin, with a Degree in Visual Communications. Subsequently, he worked as a creative designer and illustrator in several advertising agencies before going freelance in 2010. In 2020, he completed a certificate in animation from Griffith College, Dublin. His passion for narrative and storytelling draws inspiration from both luminous childhood memories and many exciting years working in advertising. In September 2023, he self-published Goozebob, a picture book for early readers focusing on global warming. “If Goozebob can help parents gently broach the subject of climate change with their children at storytime, I’d be delighted.” This book is the fourth Ben has written and illustrated. In 2022, he self-published The Nurchies children’s picture books, a series of three picture books, also for early readers. Ben lives in Sandymount, Dublin, Ireland.
