Michael Houlihan has long been interested in Irish cultural and folk traditions. As well as working in heritage, he has written a number of books on aspects of Irish history over the years. These include ‘Puck Fair, History and Traditions’; ‘The Holy Wells of County Clare’; The Sacred Trees of County Clare and several others. Currently he is visiting and recording Children’s Graveyards (cillíns) across County Clare.
