Random Rhymes for Reasons

A native of Dublin city, Peter Byrne works as a National Tour Guide following retirement from two very interesting and active concurrent careers in Aer Lingus, Ireland’s national airline, and as a commissioned officer in the Army Reserve. His former roles, extensive travel and interesting life experiences imbued him with a deep interest in the human condition, something he wryly observes in his poetry. Since his teens Peter has been putting these observations down on paper in the form of rhymes about diverse subjects and people. Random Rhymes for Reasons was prompted by his desire to share with others many of the poems he has written to and for his wife Maree and also rhymes about family members, friends and other subjects. Over the years, Peter has also indulged his writing talents in producing advertising concepts and copy, radio ad voiceover scripts, and comedy pieces for stage, radio, and TV. As a hobby, he edited and produced a community publication for many years.
