Sile Walsh is a lecturer, facilitator, coach, and consultant who has worked internationally with over 20,000+ leaders and organisations for over a decade. Sile is a PhD candidate studying inclusive leadership in the school of psychology and has a professional background in coaching psychology and organisational development. She contributes to several local and international media outlets, including radio, TV, and print, and she is instrumental in highlighting discussions on inclusion and leadership.

Sile’s interest and commitment to trauma-informed and inclusive practices originate from her broader experiences of working across society, including working with people experiencing mental health challenges, in recovery from addiction or substance misuse, experiences of incarceration, LGBTQ+ community, with experience in the Irish/UK care system, Irish travellers, early school leavers, with neurodiversity, disabilities and others facing systemic barriers. This, coupled with her experience of working with people with more experience of power and privilege, has led Sile to consider how inclusion and leadership can be something everyone has a connection to and is responsible for.

Recent awards and recognition include Being shortlisted for the IMAGE Business Awards for Thought Leadership in Diversity and Inclusion 2024, being nominated for the Vision Awards Ireland 2024, being voted one of the top 10 coaches in Dublin by Influence and Digest in 2021 and one of the top 15 coaches in 2023, and making the “Women Who Break the Bias List” in 2022 and 2023 with Diversein.com.

As a leadership development specialist, an early school leaver, dyslexic, working class, queer and living with a disability, Sile is passionate about co-creating inclusive workplaces where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. Sile is based in Dublin and works throughout Ireland and internationally, both in person and online.
