Patrick Osborne

Patrick is a Dublin born author, playwright, screenwriter & horticulturist. His debut novel, Baxter’s Boys was published in 2020 and was likened to Roddy Doyle’s Barrytown trilogy by the Irish Independent. The rights have recently been optioned by a film & television production company. His second novel, When Your Number’s Up is a darkly comic tale set in Dublin and is released August 2023. Patrick was selected by the Irish Writers’ Centre in 2022 for their Mentorship programme. He has been a guest speaker at a number of literary events including the Liverpool Writing On The Wall festival & the Dingle Literary festival and will be speaking at this year’s Dublin International Literary Festival in September.
