@ Brian Stanton
The ‘Colours of the Mind’ system paints a CLEAR picture of your dog’s perspective of the world – this insight will really help you influence and train your dog, whether you have a puppy or an older dog living at home.

Developing excellent communication skills is a key feature of this positive approach to training and behaviour. Using this visual system, you will be able to teach the six essential commands (Sit, Wait, Stay, Come, Nicely and Heel) and six additional valuable commands (Watch, Leave, Steady, This Way, Stand and Down) and there are some FREE easy-to-follow instructional videos online too. LoveK9 also includes a key section on problems you may encounter with your dog and offers some very interesting and effective solutions. Brian’s mission is to help you get the BEST out of your relationship with your family dog and vice versa and is very keen for all family members to adopt the ‘Colours of the Mind’ system, so your trainee gets consistent signals from all. This positive approach will definitely foster friendship, mutual understanding and respect. This is a training guide your dog would choose.

Brian Stanton... Dog Trainer ... BSc PGCE Forty or so years ago, as a teenager growing up on the beautiful Southwest coast of Ireland, I became an avid reader of ‘anything dog.’ Training my own dogs at home using positive training strategies it became clear how important it is to ‘think dog’ by understanding each dog’s nature and appreciating their perspective. This is at the heart of everything. Now, as well as running obedience and socialisation training courses and ‘fun’ (non-competitive) Agility groups, I also help people and their dogs on a 1:1 basis. I work closely with several dog rescue centres and am an assessor for a charity devoted to community-based Animal Assisted Therapy. I have four dogs living at home—a Belgian Malinois, a Rottweiler and two working Labradors … all four help greatly as ‘demo dogs’ in group obedience sessions and are invaluable when working with other dogs in a 1:1 setting. My mission is for you to get the most out of your relationship with your dog and vice versa. Let's explore the Colours of the Mind together!
